what is it?
The diverse and tropical Pacific Islands are home to a vast array of nations and beautiful cultures. Many people do not know the significant history these tiny but mighty nations have played in historical battles, or that Pacific Islanders were spreading the truth of Jesus via deep sea canoes for many, many years.
The modern world has changed the face of these nations in many ways, but their inheritance and rich cultural heritage have a significant part to play on the world stage.
At the core of the Pacific DTS is a heart to see young people from Pacific Islands again take their place in on the broader world stage. Join us as we reach out to indigenous Australians, Fijians, Papua New Guineans, New Zealanders and other Pacific Islanders to call them into a life of making a difference in our community, and the nations.
when does it start?
*July 21st 2013 – December 13th 2013

what does it cost?
Course costs: $4,490 AUD – Enrolment fee, registration fee, course deposit, tuition, camping, food, and accommodation. (Additional $249 AUD OSHC for international students). It does not include visa or personal expenses such as toiletries, laundry, snacks, postage, etc. The DTS fees do not include your transportation to and from YWAM Townsville.
Outreach costs: $2000 – $4000 – This fee covers transportation costs within Australia or the cross-cultural outreach. It covers expenses like airfare, overseas outreach insurance, vehicle running costs, bus/train tickets, extra visas, food, accommodation, and administration. The costs can vary greatly in price depending on which outreach location you choose.
