But as for Backstage Star I'll explain what this term's will hopefully look like. We generally start with an intro video - the one on my website is the one we made for last term. Then MC's do an intro and talk to the Judges allowing the judges personalities made known. We have some exceptional actors as judges. Then the MC's will intro an act, the performers will perform and then the judges judge. Obviously keeping in theme with YS values. We try to have at lease one or two other videos in the night as well. Commercials for the cafe, or a YS team. It helps to have one at the end of the night after the last performance so that the Judges have time to discuss who's going through. We run auditions before the show to moniter content, learn the length of time, instruments needed, ect. Then we run three Live Auditions a year and one Finale. THis term is a Live Audition (L.A.) which means that two people/groups will go through to the Finale, and so after three L.A.'s we'll have six performances for the Finale. I hope this is making sense. do I have your e-mail address? I can send you some running sheets if that would give a bit of a clearer picture.
Oh and the tour was great.
