A little about me...

I finished university in May 2008, where I studied Youth Work and Theology. I have been working over the last year, while trying to discern God's calling. God has led me on a very exciting journey during this period which has lead me coming to Townsville to do a DTS before I go off to Guatemala for a year to work with street children...so I am very exicited!!
Looking forward to being challenged and growing closer to God and making new friends with the bonus of it being hot and sunny!!

Hey-lo! I am excited as well. Right now, I am at a youth camp in Florida with kids from my youth group, I am one of the leaders along to keep the kids in line. But, I haven't had to do much, the kids are awesome and are really getting some stuff from God and I wonder sometimes if I'm less mature than them. ha. Well, I'll be getting to Townsville on like July 6th, a bit before the class starts. See you when you get there?

Hey!! It's good to hear from someone who will be doing the DTS... I am so excited! I have been on a few mission trips, but I'm sure this will be a completely different experience. I can't wait! I just got all of my visa stuff and travel arrangements worked out, and now I'm working on the blue card. How about you? Everything going smoothly?
