Favorite sport is definitely ice hockey... it's fast, physically demanding, and mentally... well... I've never played another sport that is so exerting mentally. You just have to keep track of so much.

our title and position and "Undercover Millionaire's"

People seemed to be concerned with titles and position. It's the norm. It was no different in Jesus day. When the mother of 2 of Jesus disciples came to him and asked him if her sons could sit on the right and left of Jesus when they came into His kingdom, He responded it was not up to Him to give that honor. His disciples became all distraught at what had happened. They became angry with the 2 because James and John had secretly tried to get a title ..to get ahead..These are the 2 great apostle… Continue

prayer ....

I was feeling pretty low.. and so I began to pray. My family seem to all be struggling in some respect as well as myself so there's plenty to pray for. I'm not sure how I really should pray or even what to say a lot, but the act of prayer does something.., and this brings me to my thought. C.S. Lewis also wrote about this.. does prayer change God, or does it change us..? I have a feeling it changes me much more than it changes God. It's as if God gives me his heart through prayer.. for those I'm… Continue

Having faith in uncertain times, and these are most definitely uncertain times.

I'm guessing the community there at Reef to Outback is aware of all thats happening in the world today especially in the US at this very moment with the financial crises.. things are incredibly unstable around the world as economic markets are crumbling.. I've seen the effect that it has taken on many people here, and it's shaking the sources of everyones faith and securities. It has hit churches so that they are either cutting mission budgets or shoring up what they have. It has a trickle down… Continue

hunting with the aboriginals

We went hunting yesterday with some of the aborignals from Lockhart river community. The kids were flying around the creek spotting everything it seemed (and I fell a little behind, their feet are extremely tough).. It was awsome. We went camping for a day with some of the kids and they were just awsome to be around... really loving and friendly. They cooked up a couple of turtles, some freshwater prauns, fish, and anything else they caught over a fire. It was great to be a part of their culture… Continue

Yeah it has been! How are you? How was your DTS? Are you still at RTO? When will you be back in the States? My parents are in Colonial Heights at the moment living with my brother. We're going to be back there the middle of Nov for 6 weeks, which I'm really looking forward to.
Yep, we've been living in England for the last 4 years, working with YWAM Harpenden.
So what are your plans now?
