Hey Katie! Thanks for writing to me and letting me know the fantastic news about your Mum :o) I'm so pleased to hear that she is doing so well and cancer free - YEAH!!! I will be praying for you this week as you figure out if you can make it for the April school. All is well here, the October school graduated last week which was awesome hearing about all that they did on outreach....the January school are getting ready for their outreach, only a few weeks left to go before they head out. So yeah, pretty busy but I like it when there is lots going on!! :o)

Things here are great....thankfully the rain has calmed down....still getting some rain which is good, but not crazy endless rain like we had in Jan!!! Things in Holland are quite busy! I've got a job with irregular working hours and I'm involved in several church activities and there's this visa application I have to complete. Never thought that life after school could be this busy! I find it hard to keep in touch with my friends, because of these irregular working hours. But I love my job and God really blessed me with it, so I'll just have to be creative :-)
And how are things over there? How is your mother doing? Is she responding well to the treatments? I'm still praying for you!

Hi Katie! Its not that the heat that is as bad as Bakersfield here... its the humidity that is SHOCKING, to be honest... But... its totally worth and lets face it... there's a lot of air conditioning! :)

Hey all! I'm just a California girl looking to serve God. Will probably be joining the January 09 DTS at RTO. Due to facebook being lame and not letting people who aren't already part of one of my networks see my profile (link below, if you can access it, rock it!), here's a bit of info about.

I just graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego with a degree in Biology. Am trying to figure out what to do with my life since I have no desire to really actually use my bio degree by going into research or something. Love literature, jazz, the UK, and rain (yeah, San Diego. Go figure.)
