Last Day in London

Well, I sit here, smile on my face and a warm glow in my chest, toes feeling like they are about to fall off with cold.

Yep... Canada just won Gold in Men's Hockey at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver! It's like the most delicious icing imaginable on an Olympic-sized cake!

Update: London, ON

Hi everyone!

I'm writing this from my grandparent's condo in London, Ontario. My mom, uncle and myself flew here from Alberta yesterday to suprise my grandma for her birthday, tomorrow. It's been a lot of fun, so far!

Unfortunately, I forgot my winter coat, so that's kind of annoying... it's been snowing on and off and fairly chilly (compared to Townsville), and all I have is a couple of hoodies! We'll probably head out and find a cheap winter coat at some point...

as long as we are back for the game tonght! (1:30 PM EST)

Haha, hmm I don't know... Both options are tempting. Life is so crazy uncertain though. You know what just happened?!!!! 5 minutes ago I recieved an email saying that the School of Design I'm applying for has been delayed 3 months!!!! Ahhhhh! Such is YWAM. Gotta love it. Still processing what this means, but I think it will all work out ok. Sheesh.

Haha, yeah RTO wasn't really my first choice either. At first I wanted to go to the YWAM base in Berlin, Germany, but after looking further into both (and others) I feel that RTO fits me well as far as I can see anyways. I'm so excited to come! Where are you from originally? How do you like it at RTO?

It was pretty random actually, when I first was looking for missions opportunities on the ywam website I was checking out a bunch of different places, but eventually narrowed it down to RTO :-) Now I just gotta worry about getting everything together for July

I found out about you guys because someone at my church told me that i should look into YWAM, and to talk to his friend who had done one. His friend really recommended this one so ive been looking for quite some time. I think im going to apply within the week now.
