This project was a partnership project with the Department of Housing Community Renewal, Department of Communities Sport and Recreation Services and Townsville City Council.
Townsville PCYC Regional Skate and BMX competition
Also heating up the festival will be the Townsville PCYC's regional skate/BMX competition finale. This is the PCYC's largest skate event for the year. The finale will take advantage of the council's new Riverway skate park and YWAM's skate ramp, with keen finalist skaters and BMX riders showing off their skills.
Youth exhibitions
Local community groups and talent will have the opportunity to exhibit themselves through information displays, performances or workshops. These different exhibitions will be used to redefine the standard of excellence amongst our youth culture, inspire positive values, boost community morale and restore faith in the city's assets through our young people.
